Your privacy is super important to us. This policy explains in plain language how personal information is used by Home Routines.
This version of the policy applies to Home Routines 4.0 and later. If you are using the older Home Routines Classic app, it has its own privacy policy here: https://my.homeroutines.com/privacy
Once in a while we may update this policy. This page will always have the current version.
Your Home Routines Data is Private to You
Your routines, tasks, zones and other data belong to you. Your Home Routines data is stored in your Apple iCloud account and uses end-to-end encryption. This means that we cannot read or access your routines and other information, and neither can Apple or other third parties.
If your iCloud account is disabled, your data will only be stored on your device and in backups you make of your device.
If you share a list with another user, they will have access to the list too. You may revoke access to a list you have shared.
Your data will never be used to train AI models.
When You Contact Support
If you email us for support we will store the information you send us, including your email address. We store this data indefinitely so that if you contact us again we can see your previous questions. We also use this information to track general trends in support.
If you would like us to delete your old support emails, contact us at support@homeroutines.com.
Analytics
We record some anonymous information about how the app is used:
- The app version, operating system and language
- If an error occurs or if the app crashes
Our Mailing List
If you join our mailing list then we store your email address so we can send you email about Home Routines. If you unsubscribe we’ll stop sending you email right away, and we’ll delete your email address from our records a month later. There is a link to unsubscribe at the bottom of every email.
We will never, ever, give your email address to anyone else.
